Nayeli Azucena Rodriguez-Briones, Jun Li, Xinhua Peng, Tal Mor, Yossi, Weinstein, Raymond Laflamme

TL;DR
This paper demonstrates that the cooling limit of Heat-Bath Algorithmic Cooling can be surpassed by introducing correlations in the qubits-bath interaction, challenging previous theoretical bounds.
Contribution
It introduces a method to exceed the established cooling limit of HBAC by leveraging correlated interactions between qubits and the bath.
Findings
Correlation in qubits-bath interaction enables surpassing previous cooling bounds
Theoretical proof of exceeding the HBAC limit with correlated interactions
Potential for improved quantum cooling techniques
Abstract
In a recent paper, PRL 114 100404, 2015, Raeisi and Mosca gave a limit for cooling with Heat-Bath Algorithmic Cooling (HBAC). Here we show how to exceed that limit by having correlation in the qubits-bath interaction.
