Tsallis $p_\perp$ distribution from statistical clusters
A.Bialas

TL;DR
This paper demonstrates that particle transverse momentum distributions from statistical cluster decays follow a Tsallis distribution, effectively fitting experimental data with a cluster temperature around 160 MeV.
Contribution
It establishes a connection between statistical cluster decay models and Tsallis non-extensive statistics, providing a new interpretation of transverse momentum spectra.
Findings
Tsallis distribution closely matches particle spectra from cluster decay
Experimental data fit well with a cluster temperature of approximately 160 MeV
Power-law distribution of cluster transverse energy explains observed spectra
Abstract
It is shown that the transverse momentum distributions of particles emerging from the decay of statistical clusters, distributed according to a power law in their transverse energy, closely resembles that following from the Tsallis non-extensive statistical model. The experimental data are well reproduced with the cluster temperature MeV.
