TL;DR
This paper calculates the magnetic dipole moments of heavy tensor mesons using light cone QCD sum rules, revealing differences between charged and neutral mesons and quantifying SU(3) flavor symmetry violation.
Contribution
First estimation of magnetic dipole moments for specific heavy tensor mesons within the light cone QCD sum rules framework.
Findings
Charged mesons have larger magnetic dipole moments than neutral ones.
SU(3) flavor symmetry violation is approximately 10% in both b and c sectors.
Quantitative estimates of magnetic dipole moments for heavy tensor mesons.
Abstract
The magnetic dipole moments of the , and , , and heavy tensor mesons are estimated in framework of the light cone QCD sum rules. It is observed that the magnetic dipole moments for the charged mesons are larger than that of its neutral counterpart. It is found that the flavor symmetry violation is about 10\% in both and sectors.
