TL;DR
This paper investigates the mixing of eta and eta' mesons in charge-exchange reactions and heavy meson decays, explaining observed cross-section ratios through rescattering effects and estimating the meson mixing angle.
Contribution
It introduces a model incorporating rescattering and annihilation effects to explain eta-eta' production ratios and estimates the meson mixing angle from various decay processes.
Findings
Rescattering and annihilation effects explain the eta/eta' cross-section dependence.
Estimated meson mixing angle consistent with decay data.
Describes yield ratios in B and J/psi meson decays.
Abstract
Involving of elastic rescattering and annihilation of quark-antiquark pairs in a final state allows us to explain a dependence of ratio for cross sections of and mesons versus transfer momentum in charge exchange reactions. We estimate the mixing angle of mesons with isoscalar states of and of hidden strangeness. The evaluation includes the consistent description of yield ratio for and mesons in decays of , and mesons.
