TL;DR
This paper explores how, within the Georgi-Machacek model, the decay channels of a heavy neutral scalar H into ZZ and WW can be suppressed while still allowing for significant production of double SM-like Higgs bosons, impacting detection strategies.
Contribution
It demonstrates the possibility of suppressing $H\to VV$ decay channels in the Georgi-Machacek model while enhancing double Higgs production, offering new insights into Higgs phenomenology.
Findings
Suppression of $H\to ZZ$ and $H\to WW$ decay modes in the model.
Enhanced double SM-like Higgs boson production via $H$ decays.
Implications for Higgs search strategies in collider experiments.
Abstract
The decay mode is usually considered as one of the most promising ways to discover new heavy neutral scalar . We show that in the Georgi-Machacek model it is possible to get large enhancement of double SM-like Higgs boson production due to decays while and decay channels could be highly suppressed.
