Justin Hietala, Dan Cronin-Hennessy, Todd Pedlar, Ian Shipsey

TL;DR
This paper reports precise measurements of six exclusive $D_s$ semileptonic decay branching fractions using CLEO-c data, and uses these results to determine mixing angles and the CKM matrix element $|V_{cs}|$, improving previous precision.
Contribution
It provides the most accurate measurements of specific $D_s$ semileptonic branching fractions and introduces a novel method that avoids $D_s^*$ photon reconstruction.
Findings
Measured six $D_s$ semileptonic branching fractions with improved precision.
Determined $ ext{eta}- ext{eta}'$ and $f_0$ mixing angles using these measurements.
Estimated $|V_{cs}|$ by combining results with lattice calculations.
Abstract
We measure absolute branching fractions for six exclusive semileptonic decays. We use data collected in the CLEO-c detector from annihilations delivered by the Cornell Electron Storage Ring with a center-of-mass energy near 4170 MeV. We find %, %, and % for the largest modes, where the first uncertainties are statistical and the second are systematic. We also obtain %, %, and % for masses within 60 MeV of 980 MeV. We use our results to determine the and mixing angles with…
