TL;DR
This paper develops a comprehensive Effective Field Theory framework at NLO to analyze deviations from the Standard Model, extending the kappa-framework for more precise new physics studies.
Contribution
It introduces a consistent EFT approach at NLO that extends the kappa-framework to better study Standard Model deviations with higher precision.
Findings
Framework allows systematic inclusion of higher-dimensional operators
Extends the kappa-framework to NLO accuracy
Enables more precise tests of new physics effects
Abstract
A consistent framework for studying Standard Model deviations is developed. It assumes that New Physics becomes relevant at some scale beyond the present experimental reach and uses the Effective Field Theory approach by adding higher-dimensional operators to the Standard Model Lagrangian and by computing relevant processes at the next-to-leading order, extending the original kappa-framework.
