Imprints of energy limitation in transverse momentum distributions of jets
Maciej Rybczy\'nski, Zbigniew W{\l}odarczyk

TL;DR
This paper uses a Tsallis nonextensive model to analyze jet transverse momentum distributions, highlighting the influence of energy conservation laws and revealing power-law behaviors similar to hadron spectra.
Contribution
It introduces a nonextensive approach to jet spectra analysis and explores the impact of energy limitations on these distributions.
Findings
Jet spectra follow a power-law distribution with indices similar to hadron spectra.
Energy conservation laws influence the shape of jet transverse momentum distributions.
The Tsallis approach effectively models the observed spectra.
Abstract
Using a Tsallis nonextensive approach, we analyse distributions of transverse spectra of jets. We discuss the possible influence of energy conservation laws on these distributions. Transverse spectra of jets exhibit a power-law behavior of with the power indices similar to those for transverse spectra of hadrons.
