TL;DR
This paper evaluates the potential precision in measuring Higgs production cross-sections via $WW$ and $ZZ$ fusion at a 1.4 TeV CLIC collider, focusing on specific decay channels and their implications for Higgs coupling measurements.
Contribution
It provides the first detailed estimates of measurement precisions for Higgs production via fusion processes at 1.4 TeV CLIC, including decay channels and their impact on coupling determination.
Findings
$H ightarrow ZZ^ ext{*}$ cross-section measurable with 18.3% (hadronic) and 6% (semi-leptonic) precision.
$H ightarrow bar{b}$ via $ZZ$ fusion measurable with 1.7% precision.
Measurement improves understanding of Higgs-Z coupling $g_{H_{ZZ}}$.
Abstract
This paper presents the potential measurement at 1.4 TeV CLIC of the cross-section (times branching ratio) of the Higgs production via fusion with the Higgs subsequently decaying in , , and of the Higgs production via fusion with the Higgs subsequently decaying in , . For the decay the hadronic final state, , and the semi-leptonic final state, , are considered. The results show that can be measured with a precision of 18.3% and 6% for the hadronic and semi-leptonic channel, respectively. can be measured with a precision of 1.7%. This…
