TL;DR
This paper proves an area law with a logarithmic correction for the mutual information in fixed points of rapidly mixing local dissipative quantum systems, under certain purity or frustration-free conditions.
Contribution
It establishes a new area law for mutual information in dissipative quantum systems with rapid mixing, considering specific fixed point conditions.
Findings
Proves an area law with a logarithmic correction for mutual information.
Applies to fixed points that are pure or frustration free.
Advances understanding of entanglement structure in dissipative quantum systems.
Abstract
We prove an area law with a logarithmic correction for the mutual information for fixed points of local dissipative quantum system satisfying a rapid mixing condition, under either of the following assumptions: the fixed point is pure, or the system is frustration free.
