TL;DR
This study searches for the decay $B_s^0 o ar{D}^0 f_0(980)$ using LHCb data, finds no significant signal, and sets the first upper limits on its branching fraction.
Contribution
First search for the decay $B_s^0 o ar{D}^0 f_0(980)$ and establishment of upper limits on its branching fraction.
Findings
No significant signal observed.
Upper limits on branching fraction set at 90% and 95% confidence levels.
Abstract
A search for decays is performed using of collision data recorded by the LHCb experiment during 2011 and 2012. The meson is reconstructed through its decay to the final state in the mass window . No significant signal is observed. The first upper limits on the branching fraction of are set at () confidence level.
