Model of the N-Quark Potential in SU(N) Gauge Theory using Gauge-String Duality
Oleg Andreev

TL;DR
This paper employs gauge-string duality to model the N-quark potential in SU(N) gauge theories, successfully matching lattice results and capturing the transition from the Δ-law to the Y-law at different distances.
Contribution
It introduces a gauge-string duality-based model for the N-quark potential that accurately reproduces lattice data and describes the potential's behavior across distance scales.
Findings
Model agrees with lattice simulations for SU(3)
Smooth transition between Δ-law and Y-law behaviors
Accurate description of N-quark potential across distances
Abstract
We use gauge-string duality to model the -quark potential in pure Yang-Mills theories. For , the result agrees remarkably well with lattice simulations. The model smoothly interpolates between almost the -law at small distances and the Y-law at large distances.
