M. M. Homor, A. Jakovac

TL;DR
This paper measures the shear viscosity of the classical ^4 theory using microcanonical simulations and the Green-Kubo relation, highlighting cutoff dependence and comparing results with experimental systems.
Contribution
It introduces a method to compute shear viscosity in classical ^4 theory via simulation and correlation functions, emphasizing cutoff effects.
Findings
Shear viscosity depends on the cutoff within the temperature range.
Simulation results are compared with experimental data.
The Green-Kubo relation effectively computes viscosity in classical field theories.
Abstract
Shear viscosity of the classical theory is measured using classical microcanonical simulation. To calculate the Kubo formula, we measure the energy-momentum tensor correlation function, and apply the Green-Kubo relation. Being a classical theory, the results depend on the cutoff which should be chosen in the range of the temperature. Comparison with experimentally accessible systems is also performed.
