A study of $CP$ violation in $B^\mp \rightarrow Dh^\mp$ ($h=K,\pi$) with the modes $D \rightarrow K^\mp \pi^\pm \pi^0$, $D \rightarrow \pi^+\pi^-\pi^0$ and $D \rightarrow K^+K^-\pi^0$

TL;DR
This paper reports on the measurement of CP violation in B meson decays involving D mesons reconstructed in three-body final states, using LHCb data, with first observations of certain suppressed decay modes and implications for the unitarity triangle angle γ.
Contribution
It presents the first observations of suppressed and quasi-GLW decay modes in B to D h decays with D reconstructed in specific three-body final states, providing new insights into CP violation.
Findings
First observation of suppressed $B^ p ightarrow [ p K^ p p p p]_D p$ decay.
First observation of quasi-GLW decay mode $B^ p ightarrow [K^+ K^- p p p]_D p$.
Measurements contribute to understanding the unitarity triangle angle $oldsymbol{ extgamma}$.
Abstract
An analysis of the decays of and is presented in which the meson is reconstructed in the three-body final states , and . Using data from LHCb corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 3.0 fb of collisions, measurements of several observables are performed. First observations are obtained of the suppressed ADS decay and the quasi-GLW decay . The results are interpreted in the context of the unitarity triangle angle and related parameters.
