The process $e^+e^- \to \pi \pi X(3823)$ in the soft pion limit
M.B. Voloshin

TL;DR
This paper analyzes the production mechanism of the $X(3823)$ resonance in electron-positron collisions with two pions, using the soft pion limit, and discusses implications for understanding charmoniumlike states and potential amplitude enhancements near 4.36 GeV.
Contribution
It demonstrates that the process $e^+e^- o ho ho X(3823)$ can be fully described in the soft pion limit, providing a theoretical framework for interpreting experimental data.
Findings
The process is described by a single coupling constant in the soft pion limit.
Data suggests a significant amplitude enhancement near 4.36 GeV.
The framework can reveal new features of charmoniumlike states.
Abstract
The production of the resonance , identified as the charmonium state, in the process has been recently reported by BESIII. It is pointed out that this process is fully described, up to one overall coupling constant, in the soft pion limit. An interpretation of the available and possible future data within the discussed theoretical framework may reveal new features of the charmoniumlike states. In particular, the observed relative yield for this process at different energies strongly suggests a very significant enhancement of the amplitude at the charmoniumlike peak near 4.36\,GeV.
