TL;DR
This paper reviews recent experimental results on top quark production and properties from the D0 experiment at Fermilab, including cross sections, asymmetries, and the most precise top quark mass measurement to date.
Contribution
It presents new measurements of top quark production, evidence of single top production in the s-channel, and the most precise top quark mass determination from the Tevatron.
Findings
First evidence of s-channel single top production by D0
Most precise top quark mass measurement with 0.37% relative uncertainty
Differential and combined top pair production cross section results
Abstract
In these proceedings, I review recent measurements in the top quark sector in collisions at a centre-of-mass energy of TeV in Run II of the Fermilab Tevatron Collider using the D0 detector. I will present the differential measurement of the production cross section and the Tevatron combination of inclusive cross section measurements; the first evidence of the production of single top quarks in the -channel by D0 and the observation in combination with CDF. Furthermore, I will review the measurements of the forward-backward asymmetry in events, and conclude with the world's most precise single measurement of the top quark mass, which is a fundamental parameter of the standard model, and present the Tevatron combination, which is the world's most precise determination of the top quark mass, with a relative precision of 0.37\%.
