TL;DR
This paper measures the branching fractions of semi-inclusive $B_s$ decays involving $D_s$ mesons and leptons using Belle data, and estimates the $B_s^{(*)}ar{B}_s^{(*)}$ production cross-section at the $$ energy.
Contribution
First measurement of semi-inclusive $B_s$ decay branching fractions and $B_s^{(*)}ar{B}_s^{(*)}$ production cross-section at Belle.
Findings
Branching fraction for $B_s o D_s^- X \,\ell^+ \,\nu$ is approximately 8.2%.
Branching fraction for $B_s o D_s^{*-} X \,\ell^+ \,\nu$ is approximately 5.4%.
Estimated $B_s^{(*)}ar{B}_s^{(*)}$ production cross-section is about 54 pb.
Abstract
We present an analysis of the semi-inclusive decays and , where denotes a final state that may consist of additional hadrons or photons and is an electron or muon. The studied decays are contained in the data sample collected by the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy collider. The branching fractions of the decays are measured to be and , where the first two uncertainties are statistical and systematic and the last is due to external parameters. The measurement also provides an estimate of the …
