TL;DR
This paper presents a quasirelativistic Hartree-Fock approach to calculate spectral parameters of the W$^{39+}$ ion, incorporating relativistic effects and electron correlations, and compares results with experimental and theoretical data.
Contribution
It introduces a quasirelativistic Hartree-Fock method tailored for heavy ions, providing new spectral data for tungsten ion W$^{39+}$ with relativistic and correlation effects included.
Findings
Spectroscopic parameters for W$^{39+}$ configurations are calculated.
Results show good agreement with experimental measurements.
The method effectively accounts for relativistic and correlation effects.
Abstract
The ab initio quasirelativistic Hartree-Fock method developed specifically for the calculation of spectral parameters of heavy atoms and highly charged ions is used to derive spectral data for the 4s4p, 4s4p4d and 4s4p configurations of the multicharged tungsten ion W. The relativistic effects are taken into account in the Breit-Pauli approximation for the quasirelativistic Hartree-Fock radial orbitals. The configuration interaction method is applied to include the electron correlation effects. Produced data are compared with existing experimental measurements and theoretical calculations.
