TL;DR
This paper introduces a new quantum algorithm for image classification that leverages principal component analysis and quantum measurements, along with a novel quantum image representation.
Contribution
It proposes a novel quantum algorithm for image classification based on PCA and quantum measurements, including a new quantum image representation.
Findings
Demonstrates a quantum approach to image classification
Introduces a new quantum image representation
Lays groundwork for quantum image processing
Abstract
We present a novel quantum algorithm for classification of images. The algorithm is constructed using principal component analysis and von Neuman quantum measurements. In order to apply the algorithm we present a new quantum representation of grayscale images.
