TL;DR
This paper introduces a formal normal form for Ak slow fast systems, a class of singularly perturbed ODEs, by analyzing their slow manifolds defined via universal unfoldings of Ak singularities.
Contribution
It provides a systematic method to normalize Ak slow fast systems, enhancing understanding of their structure and dynamics.
Findings
Formal normal form derived for Ak slow fast systems
Simplifies analysis of slow manifolds in these systems
Facilitates future research on bifurcations and stability
Abstract
An Ak slow fast system is a particular type of singularly perturbed ODE. The corresponding slow manifold is defined by the critical points of a universal unfolding of an Ak singularity. In this note we propose a formal normal form of Ak slow fast systems.
