Characterization of majorization monotone quantum dynamics
Haidong Yuan

TL;DR
This paper characterizes the conditions under which Markovian open quantum system dynamics always increase disorder, providing a complete criterion for majorization monotonicity in quantum processes.
Contribution
It establishes necessary and sufficient conditions for Markovian quantum dynamics to be majorization monotone, highlighting when such dynamics always lead to more mixed states.
Findings
Identifies conditions for majorization monotonicity in quantum dynamics
Provides a complete characterization of mixing behavior in open quantum systems
Clarifies the relationship between Markovianity and state mixing
Abstract
In this article I study the dynamics of open quantum system in Markovian environment. I give necessary and sufficient conditions for such dynamics to be majorization monotone, which are those dynamics always mixing the states.
