$X(3915)$ as a $D_s \bar D_s$ bound state
Xin Li, M.B. Voloshin

TL;DR
This paper proposes that the $X(3915)$ resonance is a molecular bound state of $D_s ar D_s$ mesons with specific decay properties and predicts experimental signatures in $B$ decays to test this hypothesis.
Contribution
It introduces the novel idea that $X(3915)$ is a $D_s ar D_s$ bound state and details its decay patterns and experimental signatures.
Findings
Decay rates of $X(3915)$ to non-strange $D$ mesons are suppressed.
Branching fraction to $ ext{omega} J/\psi$ can be as large as 0.3.
Predicted enhancement in $D_s ar D_s$ spectrum near threshold in $B$ decays.
Abstract
We suggest that the observed properties of the charmoniumlike resonance can possibly be explained if it is an wave molecular bound state of meson pair with binding energy about 18\,MeV. In particular, the decays of to pairs of non-strange mesons are suppressed and proceed at a rate comparable to that of the decay , whose branching fraction can be as large as about 0.3. Other major types of decay of with a comparable (or slightly smaller) rate are the transition and the decays into light hadrons due to the annihilation of the quark pair. The existence of a bound state should lead to an enhancement in the spectrum of the invariant mass for the near threshold in decays, e.g. in which enhancement can be tested experimentally.
