Adrian Constantin, Konstantinos Kalimeris, Otmar Scherzer

TL;DR
This paper develops high-order approximation methods for steady periodic water waves with constant vorticity, accurately modeling wave profiles, velocity fields, and pressures beneath the waves.
Contribution
It introduces a novel high-order approximation approach for steady periodic water waves with constant vorticity, enhancing modeling precision.
Findings
Accurate wave profile approximations achieved
Velocity field and pressure beneath waves effectively modeled
High-order methods improve previous approximation accuracy
Abstract
We provide high-order approximations to periodic travelling wave profiles and to the velocity field and the pressure beneath the waves, in flows with constant vorticity over a flat bed.
