Torsional Elastic Waves in Double Wall Tube
M. O. Katanaev

TL;DR
This paper models torsional elastic wave propagation in a double wall tube with cylindrical dislocation using geometric defect theory, deriving the induced metric and dispersion relation.
Contribution
It introduces a geometric approach to analyze torsional waves in double wall tubes with dislocations, providing new analytical tools.
Findings
Derived the induced metric for the double wall tube with dislocation.
Obtained the dispersion relation for torsional elastic waves.
Provided a theoretical framework for wave analysis in defective tubes.
Abstract
We describe the double wall tube with cylindrical dislocation in the framework of the geometric theory of defects. The induced metric is found. The dispersion relation is obtained for the propagation of torsional elastic waves in the double wall tube.
