Thermal dilepton production from hot QCD
M. Laine

TL;DR
This paper reviews advanced theoretical calculations of thermal dilepton production in hot QCD plasmas, providing an interpolation method for all photon masses and discussing potential comparisons with lattice and experimental data.
Contribution
It introduces a comprehensive interpolation method for dilepton production rates applicable across all photon masses in hot QCD.
Findings
NLO and LPM-resummed calculations of dilepton rates.
An interpolation scheme valid for all positive photon masses.
Discussion of prospects for lattice and experimental validation.
Abstract
NLO and LPM-resummed computations of thermal dilepton production from a hot QCD plasma are reviewed. An interpolation applicable for all positive photon invariant masses is presented, and possibilities for comparisons with lattice and experimental data are pointed out.
