Moore-Penrose inverses of Gram matrices Leaving a Cone Invariant in an Indefinite Inner Product Space
K. Appi Reddy, T. Kurmayya

TL;DR
This paper characterizes Moore-Penrose inverses of Gram matrices that leave a cone invariant within indefinite inner product spaces, using indefinite matrix multiplication, and relates this to the acuteness or obtuseness of certain convex cones.
Contribution
It provides a new characterization of Moore-Penrose inverses in indefinite inner product spaces, linking matrix invariance to cone acuteness or obtuseness.
Findings
Characterization of Moore-Penrose inverses leaving a cone invariant
Connection between cone properties and matrix inverses in indefinite spaces
Use of indefinite matrix multiplication for analysis
Abstract
In this paper we characterize Moore-Penrose inverses of Gram matrices leaving a cone invariant in an indefinite inner product space using indefinite matrix multiplication. This characterization includes the acuteness (or obtuseness) of certain closed convex cones.
