TL;DR
This paper reports a search for a rare decay of B+ mesons into specific kaon resonances, using a large dataset, but finds no significant signal and sets an upper limit on the decay's branching fraction.
Contribution
First search for the decay $B^+ ightarrow ar{K}^{*0} K^{*+}$ with a large data sample, establishing an upper limit on its branching fraction.
Findings
No significant signal observed.
Upper limit on branching fraction set at $1.31 imes 10^{-6}$.
Data sample of 772 million B meson pairs used.
Abstract
We report a search for the rare charmless decay using a data sample of pairs collected at the resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy collider. No statistically significant signal is found and a 90% confidence-level upper limit is set on the decay branching fraction as .
