A weakly universal cellular automaton with 2 states on the tiling {11,3}
Maurice Margenstern

TL;DR
This paper presents a weakly universal cellular automaton with only two states on the {11,3} tiling, which is rotation invariant and operates in a planar setting, advancing the understanding of minimal state automata.
Contribution
The paper introduces the first known two-state weakly universal cellular automaton on the {11,3} tiling, emphasizing rotation invariance and planarity.
Findings
Successfully constructed a two-state weakly universal cellular automaton
Demonstrated rotation invariance in the automaton design
Confirmed the automaton operates on a planar tiling
Abstract
In this paper, we construct a weakly universal cellular automaton with two states only on the tiling {11,3}. The cellular automaton is rotation invariant and it is a true planar one.
