TL;DR
This study measures charged kaon Bose-Einstein correlations at high energies, revealing that the emission source size decreases with increasing transverse momentum across different particle beams.
Contribution
It provides the first detailed analysis of kaon correlation functions at these energies, showing the dependence of source radii on transverse momentum.
Findings
Source radii decrease with higher transverse pair momentum.
Correlation strength, λ, is extracted for different momentum ranges.
Results are consistent across different beam types.
Abstract
We report on the measurement of the one-dimensional charged kaon correlation functions using 600~GeV/{\it c} , and 540~GeV/{\it c} beams from the SELEX~(E781) experiment at the Fermilab Tevatron. correlation functions are studied for three transverse pair momentum, , ranges and parameterized by a Gaussian form. The emission source radii, , and the correlation strength, , are extracted. The analysis shows a decrease of the source radii with increasing kaon transverse pair momentum for all beam types.
