TL;DR
This paper investigates the nature of certain charmed mesons by analyzing semileptonic B meson decays using a chiral unitarity model, providing predictions for decay rates and supporting their molecular interpretation.
Contribution
It introduces a coupled-channel chiral unitarity model to analyze semileptonic B decays into specific scalar mesons, offering new predictions for decay ratios and rates.
Findings
Calculated decay width ratios for B_s and B decays into D* resonances.
Predicted the decay rate for B_s to D_{s0}^*(2317) based on known B decay data.
Supported the molecular nature of D_{s0}^*(2317) and D_0^*(2400) resonances.
Abstract
We study the semileptonic and decays into the and resonances, respectively. With the help of a chiral unitarity model in coupled channels we compute the ratio of the decay widths of both processes. Using current values of the width for the decay we make predictions for the rate of the decay.
