Contribution
It presents a novel application of evolutionary strategies for optimizing milling parameters, which is a new approach in manufacturing process optimization.
Findings
The ES method effectively finds optimal machining parameters.
It yields better results compared to traditional methods.
The approach is validated through a practical case study.
Abstract
In this paper, an evolutionary strategy (ES) method is introduced as an optimization approach to solve problems in the manufacturing area. The ES method is applied to a case study for milling operations. The results show that it can effectively yield good results.
