Stability of the electron cyclotron resonance
Joachim Asch, Olivier Bourget, C\'edric Meresse

TL;DR
This paper investigates the stability of electron cyclotron resonance in a quantum system with magnetic and electric fields, demonstrating its insensitivity to impurity potentials through rigorous analysis.
Contribution
It provides a theoretical proof that electron cyclotron resonance remains unaffected by impurity potentials in a quantum setting with oscillating electric and magnetic fields.
Findings
Electron cyclotron resonance is stable against impurity potentials.
The magnetic AC Stark effect is analyzed in a quantum context.
Resonance insensitivity is rigorously proven.
Abstract
We consider the magnetic AC Stark effect for the quantum dynamics of a single particle in the plane under the influence of an oscillating homogeneous electric and a constant perpendicular magnetic field. We prove that the electron cyclotron resonance is insensitive to impurity potentials.
