A New Vector-Tensor Theory and Higher-Dimensional Cosmology
Katsuhiko Yoshida, Kiyoshi Shiraishi

TL;DR
This paper introduces a novel vector-tensor gravity model in six dimensions, explores its cosmological solutions with compactified space, and discusses potential generalizations of the model.
Contribution
It presents a new vector-tensor gravity theory involving curvature coupling in higher dimensions and derives cosmological solutions within this framework.
Findings
Derived cosmological scale factor solutions with compactified extra dimensions
Proposed a generalized version of the vector-tensor model
Established the theoretical consistency of the new model
Abstract
A new vector-tensor model of classical gravity, which contains coupling between the field strength of the vector field and the curvature tensors in six dimensions, is proposed. Cosmological solutions of the scale factors in this model with the compactified space are obtained. The generalization of the model is also considered.
