Abstract
These proceedings review direct CP violation in hadronic B decays. The experimental results include those related to the measurement of the unitarity triangle angle gamma using B->D(*)K(*) decays and measurements of charmless hadronic B decays. The results reported have been made by the BABAR, Belle and LHCb collaborations. Theoretical calculations related to these decays are also summarised. The importance of inputs from the charm sector in determining gamma from B->D(*)K(*) decays is discussed. In addition, the future prospects for these measurements will be reviewed.
