Richard Brower, Marko Djuri\'c, Timothy Raben, Chung-I Tan

TL;DR
This paper explores a softwall AdS/CFT model to describe deep inelastic scattering at small-x, demonstrating improved data fitting over conformal models and comparable success to other confinement approaches.
Contribution
It introduces a softwall AdS/CFT framework for DIS at small-x, showing enhanced data fit and comparison with existing confinement models.
Findings
The softwall model fits HERA DIS data better than conformal models.
The model achieves similar success to other confinement models.
It advances holographic approaches to QCD phenomena.
Abstract
We investigate the softwall AdS/CFT model. We specifically looked at the Pomeron, leading Regge contribution to a scattering process and used it to fit deep inelastic scattering data from the HERA collaboration. We find that the model fits the data with much more success than the purely conformal case, and find similar success to previous confinement models.
