TL;DR
This paper examines the discontinuities in multi-Regge amplitudes within the BFKL framework, revealing contradictions with the BDS ansatz in planar N=4 SYM for six or more gluons, and provides an explicit NLO expression for a specific amplitude discontinuity.
Contribution
It identifies contradictions between BFKL amplitude discontinuities and the BDS ansatz in N=4 SYM for n≥6 gluons and derives an explicit NLO discontinuity expression for a two-to-four gluon process.
Findings
Discontinuities conflict with BDS ansatz for n≥6 gluons
Explicit NLO discontinuity expression for two-to-four gluon amplitude
Highlights limitations of BDS ansatz in multi-gluon processes
Abstract
In the BFKL approach, discontinuities of multiple production amplitudes in invariant masses of produced particles are discussed. It turns out that they are in evident contradiction with the BDS ansatz for -gluon amplitudes in the planar =4 SYM at . An explicit expression for the NLO discontinuity of the two-to-four amplitude in the invariant mass of two produced gluons is is presented.
