TL;DR
This paper investigates the charmless decay channels of the $Y(4260)$ particle, proposing a molecular structure model and predicting decay branching ratios that can be tested with future experimental data.
Contribution
It introduces a novel approach to study $Y(4260)$ via charmless decays using meson loop mechanisms under the molecule hypothesis.
Findings
Predicted total branching ratios for $Y(4260) o VP$ decays are around 0.34% to 0.75%.
Intermediate $D_1 ar D + c.c.$ meson loops are likely transition mechanisms.
Predicted decay rates are comparable to $Y(4260) o Z_c^+(3900) o ext{final states}$.
Abstract
Apart from the charmful decay channels of , the charmless decay channels of also provide us a good platform to study the nature and the decay mechanism of . In this paper, we propose to probe the structure of through the charmless decays via intermediate meson loops, where and stand for light vector and pseudoscalar mesons, respectively. Under the molecule ansatz of , the predicted total branching ratio for all processes are about to with the cutoff parameter . Numerical results show that the intermediate meson loops may be a possible transition mechanism in the decays. These predicted branching ratios are the same order to that of , which may…
