TL;DR
This paper explores alternative decay modes of a heavy Higgs boson above the top-antitop threshold, highlighting their potential to reveal new physics beyond the Standard Model.
Contribution
It identifies and analyzes three decay channels of a heavy Higgs that could compete with the dominant decay to top-antitop pairs, offering new avenues for experimental searches.
Findings
Decays $H\to AZ$, $Z'Z'$, and $\tau'\tau'$ can be significant in heavy Higgs phenomenology.
Heavy Higgs decays provide a promising probe for physics beyond the Standard Model.
These decay modes remain relevant even in the alignment limit of 2-Higgs doublet models.
Abstract
For a heavy Higgs boson above the threshold we consider three decay modes that could compete with decay to , even in the alignment limit of a 2-Higgs doublet model. The decays , and show that heavy Higgs decays can be an effective probe of new physics both within and beyond this model.
