Semi-leptonic $B\to S$ decays in the standard model and in the universal extra dimension model
Zhi-Gang Wang

TL;DR
This paper investigates semi-leptonic B meson decays into scalar mesons within the Standard Model and universal extra dimension model, calculating decay widths to compare with future experimental data and explore scalar meson nature and extra dimension parameters.
Contribution
It provides theoretical predictions for B to scalar meson semi-leptonic decays using light-cone QCD sum rules in both models, including decay widths and form factors.
Findings
Calculated partial and total decay widths for B to scalar mesons.
Predictions can test scalar meson structure and constrain extra dimension parameters.
Results serve as benchmarks for future experimental verification.
Abstract
In this article, we assume the two nonets of scalar mesons below and above 1 GeV are all states, and study the semi-leptonic decays , and both in the standard model and in the universal extra dimension model using the form-factors calculated by the light-cone QCD sum rules in our previous work. We obtain the partial decay widths and decay widths, which can be confronted with the experimental data in the future to examine the natures of the scalar mesons and constrain the basic parameter in the universal extra dimension model, the compactification scale .
