Single top measurements and the $|V_{\rm tb}|$ extraction at the LHC
Abideh Jafari (for the CMS, ATLAS collaborations)

TL;DR
This paper reviews measurements of single top quark production at the LHC, focusing on cross sections, $|V_{tb}|$, and top quark properties, confirming consistency with the Standard Model and no new physics signals.
Contribution
It summarizes recent experimental results from CMS and ATLAS on single top production and top quark properties, highlighting the precision and consistency with the Standard Model.
Findings
Measurements agree with Standard Model predictions
No evidence of new physics in top quark interactions
Precise determination of $|V_{tb}|$ and top properties
Abstract
The CMS and ATLAS experiments have performed detailed studies on the electroweakly produced top quarks at the LHC. These studies range from accurate measurements of the cross section and in different production modes to search for new interactions in the vertex. Moreover, different properties of the top quark are precisely measured in this context. All measurements are consistent with the standard model and no sign of new physics is observed.
