Fundamental limitations in advanced LC schemes
A.A.Mikhailichenko

TL;DR
This paper discusses the fundamental physical and technical limitations affecting advanced laser-plasma and structure-based acceleration schemes, highlighting issues specific to each method, especially the tilted laser bunch scheme.
Contribution
It identifies and analyzes the core limitations in various advanced acceleration schemes, providing insights into their fundamental constraints.
Findings
Limitations in accelerator gradient, emittance, alignment, and polarization are fundamental.
Problems specific to each acceleration method are identified.
Special focus on issues related to the tilted laser bunch scheme.
Abstract
Fundamental limitations in accelerator gradient, emittance, alignment and polarization in acceleration schemes are considered in application for novel schemes of acceleration, including laser-plasma and structure-based schemes. Problems for each method are underlined whenever it is possible. Main attention is paid to the scheme with a tilted laser bunch.
