Lifetime measurements in $b$-hadron decays at LHCb
Francesca Dordei

TL;DR
This paper reports precise lifetime measurements of various b-hadrons using LHCb data, testing the Heavy Quark Expansion theory and providing insights into b-hadron decay properties.
Contribution
It presents new lifetime measurements of multiple b-hadrons and decay width differences, enhancing the experimental validation of theoretical models.
Findings
Measured lifetimes of B+, Λ_b^0, Ξ_b^-, Ξ_b^0, Ω_b^-
Determined effective lifetimes of B^0 and B_s^0
Measured decay width difference ΔΓ_d in B^0 system
Abstract
Precision lifetime measurements of -flavoured hadrons are an important test of the validity of the theoretical tool used to determine -hadrons observables, the Heavy Quark Expansion. Recent measurements of the , , , and hadrons lifetimes are reported. Moreover, several and effective lifetime measurements are discussed, as well as a measurement of the decay width difference in the system, . All the measurements have been performed using collision data collected with the LHCb detector.
