Quintessence with Yukawa Interaction
Andr\'e A. Costa, Lucas C. Olivari, E. Abdalla

TL;DR
This paper investigates a dark energy model where quintessence interacts with dark matter through a Yukawa coupling, using cosmological data to constrain its viability and potential forms.
Contribution
It introduces a quintessence dark energy model with Yukawa interaction and constrains it using multiple cosmological observations.
Findings
The model is consistent with current cosmological data.
A suitable scalar potential can support the interacting scenario.
The model remains a viable alternative to standard dark energy models.
Abstract
We consider a quintessence model for dark energy interacting with dark matter via a Yukawa interaction. To put constraints on this model we use the CMB measurements from the Planck satellite together with BAO, SNIa and data. We conclude that this is a viable model and an appropriate scalar potential can favor the interacting scenario.
