Dynamical systems study of Chameleon scalar field
Nandan Roy, Narayan Banerjee

TL;DR
This paper conducts a dynamical systems analysis of chameleon scalar field models, identifying stable solutions that could explain the universe's accelerated expansion across various potential and coupling configurations.
Contribution
It provides a comprehensive stability analysis for different potential and coupling functions in chameleon models, highlighting conditions for accelerated expansion.
Findings
Stable solutions for accelerated expansion identified across multiple potential and coupling combinations.
Stability criteria diagnostics developed for various chameleon model configurations.
Potential for explaining cosmic acceleration within chameleon scalar field frameworks.
Abstract
The present work is an extensive study of the viable stable solutions of chameleon scalar field models leading to possibilities of an accelerated expansion of the universe. It is found that for various combinations of the chameleon field potential and the coupling of the chameleon field with matter, a stable solution for an accelerated expansion is quite possible. The investigation provides a diagnostics for the stability criteria for all sorts of combinations of and .
