TL;DR
This paper reviews $BABAR$ experiment results on exotic charmonium-like states, including searches for resonances in B decays and two-photon interactions, providing insights into hadron spectroscopy puzzles.
Contribution
It presents new experimental searches for exotic states like X(4140) and X(4270) in B decays and analyzes $ ext{eta}_c$ decays via two-photon interactions, advancing understanding of charmonium-like states.
Findings
No significant evidence for X(4140) and X(4270) resonances in B decays.
Dalitz analysis of $ ext{eta}_c$ decays provides new decay pattern insights.
Results contribute to the understanding of exotic hadron states.
Abstract
One of the most intriguing puzzles in hadron spectroscopy are the numerous charmonium-like states observed in the last decade, including charged states that are manifestly exotic. The experiment has extensively studied those in B meson decays, initial state radiation processes and two photon reactions. The study of the process , with a search for the resonant states X(4140) and X(4270) in their decays to , will be highlighted. The recent results of the Dalitz analysis of to 3 pseudoscalar mesons, via 2-photon interactions, will be presented in this report
