Asymmetries at the Tevatron
Pavol Bartos (for the CDF, D0 collaborations)

TL;DR
This paper reviews recent measurements of top and bottom quark pair production asymmetries at the Tevatron, highlighting discrepancies between experiments and the Standard Model, especially in top-quark asymmetry results.
Contribution
It provides a comprehensive summary of the latest experimental results on quark pair asymmetries, including new measurements of bottom-quark asymmetry and comparisons across experiments.
Findings
CDF observes a discrepancy in top-quark asymmetry measurements.
D0 results align with Standard Model predictions.
Bottom-quark asymmetry results are consistent with zero and the Standard Model.
Abstract
In this report, we summarize the latest results of the top-quark pair production asymmetry and present the new result of bottom-quark pair production asymmetry. By looking at the results obtained by the CDF experiment, one can see a discrepancy in both inclusive and lepton-based measurements. The D0 results of the production asymmetry are compatible with the standard-model predictions as well as with the CDF results. The CDF measurement of production asymmetry presents consistency with both zero and with the standard-model predictions.
