Charge exchange reaction by Reggeon exchange and W$^{+}$W$^{-}$-fusion
R. Schicker

TL;DR
This paper investigates high-energy charge exchange reactions, extrapolates existing data to collider energies, and explores W-boson fusion induced reactions and their QCD backgrounds.
Contribution
It provides the first extrapolation of charge exchange cross sections to RHIC and LHC energies and analyzes W-boson fusion induced reactions and their backgrounds.
Findings
Extrapolated cross sections to collider energies.
Analyzed W-boson fusion charge exchange reactions.
Examined QCD backgrounds for these processes.
Abstract
Charge exchange reactions at high energies are examined. The existing cross section data on the Reggeon induced reaction pp n + taken at the ZGS and ISR accelerators are extrapolated to the energies of the RHIC and LHC colliders. The interest in the charge exchange reaction induced by -fusion is presented, and the corresponding QCD-background is examined.
