Semileptonic $B \rightarrow \bar{D} $ transition in nuclear medium
K. Azizi, N. Er, H. Sundu

TL;DR
This paper investigates how the nuclear medium affects the semileptonic B to D transition, revealing significant suppression in decay probability due to medium interactions using QCD sum rules.
Contribution
It provides the first calculation of in-medium form factors for B to D transitions, highlighting medium effects on decay processes.
Findings
In-medium form factors are significantly altered.
Branching ratio is suppressed in nuclear medium.
Medium interactions impact decay dynamics.
Abstract
We study the semileptonic tree-level transition in the framework of QCD sum rules in nuclear medium. In particular, we calculate the in-medium form factors entering the transition matrix elements defining this decay channel. It is found that the interactions of the participating particles with the medium lead to a considerable suppression in the branching ratio compared to the vacuum.
