The Visualization of Change in Word Meaning over Time using Temporal Word Embeddings
Chiraag Lala, Shay B. Cohen

TL;DR
This paper presents a visualization tool that leverages temporal word embeddings derived from static datasets and timestamped n-gram corpora to illustrate how word meanings evolve over time.
Contribution
It introduces a method to visualize semantic change by combining static embeddings with temporal data, enabling dynamic analysis of language evolution.
Findings
Effective visualization of semantic shifts over time
Integration of static embeddings with timestamped corpora
Facilitates understanding of language change
Abstract
We describe a visualization tool that can be used to view the change in meaning of words over time. The tool makes use of existing (static) word embedding datasets together with a timestamped -gram corpus to create {\em temporal} word embeddings.
