TL;DR
This paper calculates the pion's vector form factor using chiral effective field theory with vector mesons, employing the complex-mass scheme for consistent power counting.
Contribution
It introduces a method to include vector mesons dynamically in chiral effective field theory with a consistent power counting scheme.
Findings
Successful calculation of the pion's vector form factor
Implementation of the complex-mass scheme for effective field theory
Framework for including vector mesons dynamically
Abstract
The vector form factor of the pion is calculated in the framework of chiral effective field theory with vector mesons included as dynamical degrees of freedom. To construct an effective field theory with a consistent power counting, the complex-mass scheme is applied.
